Coli-Myco-Biome Plus contains a Tribiotic blend of Pre, Pro and Postbiotic, plus the addition of a Mycotoxin Binder, to support a healthy and resilient gut and help to manage everyday stress.

 

Key Ingredients

Tri-biotic blend of Prebiotics, Probiotics and Postbiotics to support the microbiome and overall digestive health.

Postbiotics are a microbial fermentate, which is composed of hundreds of bioactive compounds. These bioactives work synergistically with the biology of the horse to support health and performance. Postbiotics include beneficial compounds such as mannan-oligosaccharide (MOS) and beta-glucans, as well as hundreds of functional metabolites including: phytosterols, organic acids, antioxidants (polyphenols), nucleotides, peptides, proteins, vitamins, trace minerals, carbohydrates, phospholipids, oligosaccharides and short-chain fatty acids.

The postbiotic included in Opti-Biome has published, peer-reviewed research to support its use in the horse.

Postbiotics benefit the horse by:

o   Maintaining optimal gut function and a healthy gut microbiome

With the live yeast Probiotic Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Probiotics benefit the horse by:

o   Helping fibre digestion, the yeast helps to pull the fibre particle apart. This enables the fibre digesting bacteria to colonize and digest the fibre more readily, producing volatile fatty acids (VFA’s) which are a vital energy source for the horse.

o   Scavenging pockets of oxygen in the gut, which would otherwise be toxic to many of the beneficial microbes.

o   Outcompeting the lactic acid producing microbes and encouraging the growth of those which can use lactic acid, thus helping to reduce the likelihood of a drop in hindgut pH which can disrupt the delicate balance in the microbiome.

Contains Prebiotics, from Fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS). Unlike most carbohydrates, these FOSs are largely unaffected by stomach acid, and other digestive enzymes, but instead, they are selectively fermented by many of the beneficial bacteria in the hindgut. In other words, they act as a food source for, and selectively encourage the growth and activity of the beneficial intestinal bacteria which are associated with health and well-being.

The Mycotoxin Binder is included to help bind mycotoxins in the digestive tract and support normal gut function where mycotoxin exposure may occur.

Coli-Myco-Biome Plus powder is a complimentary feed for horses, designed to support digestive health, as part of a balanced diet.

Sensory Additives: 2b Mixture of flavouring compounds 7,500mg. Technological Additives: E551c Diatomaceous Earth (purified) 10,000mg, E551a Silicic Acid (dried and precipitated) 75mg, E321 Butylated Hydroxytoluene (BHT) 100mg .

Binders: E562 Sepiolite 66,878mg, 1m558i Bentonite 88,125mg.

Directions for Use

Feed 40g (1 scoop) per day mixed well in feed. Ensure fresh, clean water is available. Maximum 40g per day.
